Congratulations to me!
I got a job!! (Maybe two by tonight). Yay!! I'm waitress by day at IHOP. It's a pretty-busy good- sized restaurant. (My Dad says the service isn't very good, but that was BEFORE me!) So yeah. It should be a great experience.
I finally got new running shoes. After 4 months the search is over. I was kinda forced into the decision since I intentionally left my grungy holey 3 year old junky running shoes *that I loved* in the garbage in Ohio. So I'm going running today! Woohoo! It warmed up since the weekend which makes running conditions a bit more agreeable. This makes me very happy!
Hope you all had a GREAT Thanksgiving and good time with family.
This week I start my assignments for I-teams. I'm doing a country comparison report which should give me a better understanding of how Bolivia rates up next to US, neighboring and other latin countries. I'v attached a link to a song by Avalon called Orphans of God. It's a great song and keeps me in line as far as my perspective on going to Bolivia, and reassurance of God's calling.

The stars at night are big and bright...
Well I AM in Texas but I haven't even SEEN the stars yet!
All my stuff made it here (as far as I know) and only one bag was too big!! 62 POUNDs! Haha, that was the bag I sent with Rach!! Poor girl! Anyway, it's soo good to see the family again. Went to church yesterday morning, then we went downtown. San Antonio is such a fun city. Everyone should visit at least once in their life!

So say goodbye, 'cause I'll be leavin' soon
Hey everybody!
So Saturday is moving day. I'm flying so I have to move everything in suitcases. Thankfully, Grandma and Grandpa and maybe Rach are flying down at the same time so they'll be able to check some bags for me. I have NO idea how I'm going to pack for a WHOLE YEAR in three suitcases! Haha.
Anyways, goodbyes are always sad, even though I've said more than my fair share of them...or not! So bittersweet, yet humbling. Tomorrow's my last day on the job. I've never not had a job before (except when I was a little kid)... Hope I find one soon!!
Umm so check in once in awhile on this here blog. I finally remembered how to log in! (I know, I'm a nerd!!) But, I'll try to keep it updated.
I'm at about 40%+ of my support!! Hooray! Thanks to all of you who have generously supported me financially and through prayer!
Happy Thanksgiving!!
