Pumpkin Scones
2 c. flour
7 T sugar
1 T baking powder (yes that's a Tablespoon)
1/2 t. salt
1/2 t. cinnamon
1/2 t. nutmeg
1/4 t. ginger
6 T. cold butter
mix until crumbly and add
1/2 c. pumpkin
3 T. half and half *I didn't have half and half, so I used vanilla ice cream instead!
1 egg.
Roll dough to 1" thickness cut into triangles and bake at 425 degrees on greased cookie sheet for 14-16 minutes. Cool and drizzle with pumpkin spice glaze.
Pumpkin spice glaze
1 c. powdered sugar
2 T whole milk
1/4 t. cinnamon
1/8 t nutmeg
pinch of ginger
pinch of cloves
Mix and drizzle over scones. Immediately sprinkle with chopped walnuts and let glaze set (approximately an hour).
